Our goal is to provide the highest quality care to patients with rheumatic diseases. We strive to treat the whole patient while employing the most current methods of diagnosis and treatment.
What is a Rheumatologist?
A rheumatologist is a board-certified internist who completed two or three years of specialized training in the treatment and diagnosis of bone, joint, and muscle diseases. Rheumatologists uncover the cause of swelling and pain in these areas.
When should you see a rheumatologist?
Joint, muscle, or bone pain may last for more than a few days and cause discomfort and lack of mobility. Some rheumatic disorders respond best in the early stages of the disease. Rheumatologists will identify the problem and create individualized treatment programs to help you improve your quality of life.
